Honey Extraction, 

We take great care to extract and bottle your honey just like it is our own. we carefully open the cappings with a roller and fork rather than a hot knife. This causes less damage to the comb that you will be placing back into the hive after extraction. We use a common centrifugal extractor for longer periods and a slower rpm to avoid blowouts. When transferring honey from the extractor we strain it through a 400 micron strainer to remove wax partials but never filter out the pollen suspended in the honey.

Bottles are washed, sterilized and oven dried to ensure purity. When the bottling is completed the exterior of the bottles are washed and the lids safety sealed. When you pick up your honey it is  ready for your label to sell or enjoy!  The approximate cost is $4.50 per 1 pound jar completed. Prices vary by choice of jar and number of supers.
